Homework Trouble by Shabnam M.

Are you having trouble with your homework? Read this for tips.

Fatima's teacher said, "And your homework for tonight is math sheet 4-9." Fatima sighed. She didn't like homework. Maybe Fatima was having trouble with homework. But this made up character would probably progress if she read this!

TIP #1: Set a fixed time for studying
If you do your homework at the same time every day, for example, right after you get home from school or after you eat dinner, doing homework will become a habit. You'll be more likely to get your homework done once you fit it into your schedule.

TIP #2: Always have the right materials handy
Pencils, notebooks, highlighters...whatever! Anything you need for finishing your homework should be right next to you.

TIP #3: Don't distract yourself
Don't pause while you're doing homework to go watch TV. In the end, you may totally forget about your assignment.

TIP #4: Pay attention in class
Always pay attention to understand what will be in your homework! Do this is every subject.

TIP #5: Make it fun!
Make your homework fun! Play a flash cards instead of reciting math problems. Play a spelling game. Have fun!
